M42, un Giove mancato
Ieri sera, dopo un po’ di tempo, mi sono deciso a rimettermi a lavoro sul cielo, obiettivo Giove.
Facendo due conti poteva essere ben visibile verso le 5:00 ad est, per cui monto tutto sul balcone e rimetto la sveglia.
Alsataccia, ma la mattina presto il seeing è decisamente migliore per cui ho speranze di fare una buona ripresa in HIRes.
Mi also, vado sul terrazzo e…. giove c’è, bello ad est. Peccato che il balcone sopra ed il muro di casa lo tappano bene bene al telescopio, mi devo sporgere per vederlo. Mavvaffa!!!!
C’è li Orione che mi guarda, che faccio, torno a nanna? Certo che no.
Anche se non mi ero preparato per il deep, senza guida, senza allineamento polare fatto con la deriva ecc ecc, monto riduttore e macchina fotografica e provo a fare quello che nessuno mai dovrebbe fare dal centro città, ma ormai sono sveglio…
Il risultato non è nemmeno brutto considerando le premesse.

Somma con DSS, cosmesi con photoshop. Nucleo elaborato con gli scatti da 30s e miscelato in HDR con photoshop
